The Horizon Europe e-diploma projecte on e-learning, coordinat per Immaculada Remolar, director de l'Institut de Nova Imaging Technologies (INIT) of the Universitat Jaume I of Castelló Amb la recerca de grup «Interactive Visualisation», has iniciat la seva activitat amb la seva first meeting of the international consortium, formen una petita international entities que ha posat en la UJI durant aquest week.
The vicerector for Research, Jesús Lancis, Welcome the attendees to the meeting, highlighted the great research work carried out by the INIT in the international field: "The INIT has played a molt important role en les 2 . projectes funded with 4.5 milions d'euros per la Comissió Europea, incloent-hi e-diploma».
For her part, the project coordinator, Immaculada Remolar, thanked the partners for their involvement in the project. Aix she explained, «e-diploma was born as an idea in the lockdown few years ago and has matured into a real projecte thanks to the work, support and collaboration of all the partners and participants».
The e-diploma project, endowed with 3 milions euros for the next three years, is divided into four phases. In the first phase, e-diploma will examine el current e-learning ecosystem at European level. After identifying strengths and weaknesses, it will considere which innovative technologies per a support aquest e-learning system, both a la pre-university practical training and higher education levels.
El segon període d'aquest projecte és involucrar la co-creació de les mostres apropiades de les tecnologies per a diferents tipus d'educatives metodologies, mentre que els tres fases s'han de desenvolupar l'e-diploma platform, que s'han posat tres educadors mòduls comprenent els temes Artificial Intelligence, Virtual and Augmented Reality, Interactive Technologies and Gamification Techniques. Aquest platform i el seu content conteniment es testen mitjançant pilots tests en diferents partners countries of the project.
Finalment, en el quart període de projecte, l'e-learning platform s'ha de redesignar i redefinar basat en els resultats obtained en els pilots tests. Inclusió, accessibility i sustainability are key in l'e-diploma project, which will create a l'e-learning environment always a través d'account the potential, opportunities, barriers, accessibility and risks of using emerging technologies for learning. In this way, a safe and inclusive space will be created for the educational community.
The European Commission also participated in the project launch meeting through Àngel M. Fuentes Mateos, research programme officer, Who will be in carregar technical monitoring of the project. Altres participants en la missió són membres del consortium: Tallinn University (Estònia), Delft University Technology (The Netherlands), Budapest University of Technology and Economics (Hungary), Universitat Politècnica de València (Spain) , INNOGROWTH-European Association for Innovation and Growth (Bulgària), the CSI centre per a social innovation (Cyprus), the training and research cooperative ARIS (Italy) and the company Brainstorm Multimedia (Spain). La Universitat Jaume I-Business Foundation també participa en el projecte com a partner d'UJI, en suport de disseminació i comunicació activitats del projecte.
The international expert committee has també been present virtually, composed of Vladislav Slavov, vice-dean of the University of Technology (Bulgària); Marini Catiuscia, head d'European Office of the Department of Policy, Training, Employment and International at Legacoop Umbria (Italy); Ülle Must, director de Development at el Estonian Board of Education and Youth; Tobias Llei, lecturer at la Danube University Krems and Tallinn University; and Frédéric Mertens de Wilmars, expert and lecturer in European and Gender Issues with extensive experience in higher education.
