On December 2 and 3, the FUE-UJI hosted the initial meeting between the partners of the European project Ecoblue Tourism<\/a>. This project, financed by the European Commission under the strategic action \u201cErasmus+ KA2 Strategic Partnerships for Adult Education\u201d, has as its main objective the promotion of entrepreneurship in the education sector. ecological tourism in coastal areas<\/strong>. Through an innovative and completely online training methodology, Ecoblue Tourism will encourage this type of entrepreneurship among long-term unemployed young people.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

In order to lay the foundations on which the project will be implemented, as well as to define its action plans, the members of the project have traveled to Castell\u00f3n. The University of Patras (Greece), Dorea Educational Institute WTF (Cyprus), Training 2000 psc (Italy), Kemer Public Education Center (Turkey), Future Focus Higher Education Center Ltd (Malta) and the Business Association Gallegos in Arag\u00f3n and Riberas del Ebro, AEGARE, (Spain) are the partners of this European project led by the European and International Projects Office of the FUE-UJI, the EuroFUE-UJI.<\/strong> \u00a0<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

Framed in the first day of work of the initial meeting<\/a>, the partners have shared not only the strengths of their institutions that will contribute great value to the project, but the Management Plans, Quality Control and Risk Management have also been discussed. Likewise, the logo that will accompany the European project during its two years of implementation and its corresponding Visual Identity Manual and Communication Plan have been defined for the dissemination of the actions and results resulting from the work developed in the project.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

A large part of the work sessions scheduled on December 2 and 3 have focused their attention on the development of the online platform<\/strong> and the mobile app<\/strong> which the Ecoblue Tourism public will be able to access to expand their training in entrepreneurship in blue ecotourism. All partners will contribute to the development of both platforms, the implementation of which will be led by the University of Patras (Greece). In addition, as their basic content, AEGARE will coordinate the creation of a training guide on entrepreneurship specialized in the ecological and sustainable tourism sector in areas near the coast.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

One of the main objectives of this initial meeting was to promote rapprochement between partners and stakeholders of the project. Erasmus+ Ecoblue Tourism<\/strong>. To this end, the consortium has traveled to the Port of Castell\u00f3n to learn more about its operation, what its sustainability initiatives are and how ecological and sustainable proposals can be adapted to the current market. Among other points discussed during the visit, the Port of Castell\u00f3n highlighted the strategies Blue Growth<\/strong> framed in its 2020-2024 strategic plan.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n
