The EuroFUE-UJI team attended the first transnational meeting of the partners of the European project on January 20 and 21 TTT-I<\/a>, framed in the Erasmus+ Strategic Partnerships for Adult Education program. The Train The Trainer of Immigrants project. Innovative Training Course for Adult Educators, whose purpose is to develop and implement informal learning methodologies for the acquisition of new\u00a0languages, <\/strong>Has celebrated his <\/strong>\u00a0initial meeting in Kazimierz Dolny, a small town near the Polish capital, Warsaw<\/strong>.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

The project coordinators Fundacja Ad Meritum<\/strong> (Poland) have been the guests of this first international meeting of the project partners which are the Association for Crisis Assistance and Development Cooperation Waddi of Germany, the Greek organizations Association of Active Citizens and Second Chance School of Mytilene and the FUE-UJI, as Spanish partner.<\/p>\r\n

During this first coordination meeting, all project partners have worked together to lay the foundations on which the TTT-I project, Train The Trainer of Immigrants, will be implemented. The main objective of the project is to develop a program of language training for immigrants<\/strong> based on informal learning methodologies. To achieve this objective, an entire training curriculum will be developed that will develop activities for informal learning on the following topics: language cyber cafes, language tandems, how to manage traumatic situations, raising awareness about cultural differences, the socioeconomic environment of immigrants and multicultural mediation.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

This training curriculum<\/strong> for language teachers for immigrants will be put into practice during two training courses that will be carried out within the framework of the project soon in Lesbos <\/strong>(Greece) and Castellon <\/strong>(Spain). Furthermore, during the coming months the consortium of the European TTT-I project will meet on multiple occasions in order to continue working on the development of an intellectual product that can contribute to improving the current situation of many immigrants in Europe.<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
