{"id":5041,"date":"2022-02-17T17:26:19","date_gmt":"2022-02-17T16:26:19","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.eurofue.articagency.eu\/?p=5041"},"modified":"2022-02-17T17:26:19","modified_gmt":"2022-02-17T16:26:19","slug":"the-uji-is-committed-to-european-financing-of-the-erasmus-program","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/eurofue.com\/en\/la-uji-apuesta-por-la-financiacion-europea-del-programa-erasmus\/","title":{"rendered":"The UJI is committed to European financing of the Erasmus+ program"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The <a href=\"http:\/\/uji.es\">Jaume I University of Castell\u00f3<\/a> has celebrated the <strong>Erasmus+ Virtual Conference Key Action KA2: Cooperation between organizations and institutions<\/strong>, promoted by the Vice-Rector for Internationalization and Cooperation with the support of the <a href=\"http:\/\/fue.uji.es\">Universitat Jaume I-Company Foundation<\/a> (FUE-UJI) and the collaboration of SEPIE, the national agency for the management, dissemination and promotion of the Erasmus+ program of the European Union in the field of education and training.<\/p>\n<p>The session was opened by <strong>Joan Antoni Martin<\/strong>, vice-rector of Internationalization and Cooperation of the UJI, who highlighted the different actions of the program presented in the session.<strong> Alfonso Gentil<\/strong>, director of <a href=\"https:\/\/sepie.es\/\">SEPIE<\/a>, also spoke during the inauguration and highlighted the success of participation in the previous edition of the program: \u00abThanks to institutions like the UJI, interest in Erasmus+ is the highest, with 58 million euros and 346 cooperation projects financed in 2021\u00bb.<\/p>\n<p>The introduction to the Erasmus+ program for the period 2021-2027 has been carried out by <strong>Andrew Ajo<\/strong>, director of the School and Adult Education Unit of SEPIE, who reminded the attendees that &quot;from various institutions we can work on innovation in the sectors of school education, vocational training, higher education and personal education.&quot; adults.<\/p>\n<p>Next, <strong>Sara Mart\u00ednez Navarro<\/strong>, head of service of the SEPIE School and Adult Education Unit, has presented the call for the partnership program for cooperation, within the framework of the KA2 action in Erasmus+ 2021-2027. In his presentation, Mart\u00ednez highlighted the objectives, priorities, expected results, financing of the call and also gave the attendees advice for preparing a successful proposal.<\/p>\n<p>The call \u201cErasmus Mundus design measures\u201d has also been presented at the conference by <strong>Loreta Paulauskaite<\/strong>, contact point for the Erasmus+ International Dimension of SEPIE. Next, <strong>Ilija Vukov<\/strong>, Senior EU Funding Consultant and CEO of EMKICE Consulting, has presented all the information about the next Erasmus+ Alliances for Innovation call.<\/p>\n<p>In addition, three projects currently in force at the UJI have been presented that constitute success stories: <a href=\"https:\/\/h2omap.uji.es\/\">H2OMap<\/a>, coordinated by the FACSA Chair of Innovation in the Integral Water Cycle and presented by its coordinator<strong> Laura Menendez<\/strong>; the project <a href=\"https:\/\/www.uji.es\/institucional\/estructura\/projectes\/erasmus-ceip\/\">CE-IP<\/a>, coordinated by the SOGRES-UJI research group and presented by the UJI professor <strong>Maria Jesus Mu\u00f1oz<\/strong>; and the project <a href=\"https:\/\/senguide.ili.eu\/\">SenGuide<\/a>, hand in hand with <strong>Pilar Escuder<\/strong>, coordinator of the Universitat per a Majors of the UJI.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Eva Camacho<\/strong>, deputy vice-rector for Internationalization and Cooperation of the UJI, moderated the day and presented the conclusions, in which she highlighted that &quot;the Erasmus+ program for the period 2021-27 is a great commitment by the European Commission and has a very important for innovation and training.<\/p>\n<p>The Erasmus+ Day has also had the participation of entities, associations, administrations and companies that wish to obtain European funding.
