Gloria Serra, manager of the Fundaci\u00f3 Universitat Jaume I-Empresa<\/a>, and Nela G\u00f3mez, director of the European and International Projects Office of the FUE-UJI, have traveled to Argentina for 10 days to develop an agenda of dissemination and impact of the project \u00abBeekeeping entrepreneurship and circular economy to empower women and their families \u2013 ECOMAyA<\/a>\u00ab. FUE-UJI participates as a partner in this project, funded by the European Union, together with SOGRES-UJI and coordinated by the Network of Professionals and Technicians of Emilia Romagna- PROTER.<\/p>\n

This work agenda has prioritized the transfer of knowledge and links with institutions in the city of Mar del Plata, as it is a project based on beekeeping<\/strong> and activities related to textile production, food and construction and services, with the municipalities of General Pueyrredon, General Alvarado, Balcarce, Mar Chiquita and La Costa taking part in it. The activities in the framework of the visit began with the institutional reception by the Vice Consul of Spain, Claudia Alvarez<\/strong>, and later by the Undersecretary of Human Rights, Daniela Zulcovsky<\/strong>, together with the Director of Gender Policies of the Municipality, Bel\u00e9n Berruti,<\/strong> with whom proposals for complementary action on training issues were established.<\/p>\n

This was followed by meetings with Women Entrepreneurs from UCIP; the CAECE University, Deborah Sabsay<\/strong>, delegate of the French-Argentine Chamber of Commerce; Florencia Miconi, President of the Center of Builders and annexes of Mar del Plata, the Engineer Ana Sanchez<\/strong>, Dean of the Faculty of Engineering, ending with a visit to the new ClonAr laboratory, a center for biotechnological developments. In all these meetings, the different possibilities of joint work from the ECOMAyA project and networking have been studied.<\/p>\n

During this work agenda, several seminars and workshops have also been organized with the participation of the Spanish delegation. Among the conferences presented by Nela G\u00f3mez and Gloria Serra, \u00abTerritorial Projects and International Financing in the European Union\u00bb<\/strong>, at the Faculty of Economic and Social Sciences \u2013 UNMDP, stands out. More than 100 students attended the lecture \u00abSustainable enterprises. Analysis of cases of accommodation companies in Spain\u00bb<\/strong> at the Instituto Superior de Formaci\u00f3n T\u00e9cnica 222, in which the FUE-UJI emphasized the importance of working towards the
\nSustainable Development Goals.<\/p>\n

Finally, FASTA University shared with the ECOMAyA team the great work of its Innovation Lab, offering a workshop for first year students of the Faculty of Engineering under the model of digital entrepreneurship and work on educational inclusion and
\nquality education. Also, as part of the project, they participated in the showroom of Mujeres Emprendedoras Mar del Plata Bat\u00e1n, where more than 15 entrepreneurs were able to show their products and share their experiences. At this point, Nela G\u00f3mez and Gloria Serra remarked: \u00abIt is a great effort that women entrepreneurs in Mar del Plata are making, we believe that they are doing a great job and it is very enriching the process of entrepreneurship that exists in the city\u00bb.<\/em><\/p>\n
