The Universitat Jaume I has successfully completed the first course Study Abroad UJI<\/a> in which a group of postgraduate students in Work and Organizational Psychology from the Popular Autonomous University of the State of Puebla (UPAEP) in Mexico participated. The course \u00abHealthy and resilient organizations\u00bb<\/strong> It is one of the nine courses included in the UJI Study Abroad program, promoted by the Vice-Rector for International Relations with the aim of promoting academic training through short-term stays and multidisciplinary courses.<\/p>\n

The vice-rector of International Relations, Eva Camacho<\/strong>, closed the course and thanked the team of the professor of Social Psychology for the work done. Marisa Salanova<\/strong>, head of the WANT-UJI research group and academic coordinator of the course together with the professor Valeria Cruz<\/strong>. Likewise, Camacho has extended his congratulations for the interest shown to the Popular Autonomous University of the State of Puebla (UPAEP) and its students and has conveyed to them Jaume I's intention to continue in future courses.<\/p>\n

After a month of training and cultural sessions, the "Healthy and Resilient Organizations" course has trained UPAEP students in work psychology, healthy organizations and organizational well-being, led by leading teaching staff and researchers in each discipline. The UJI Study Abroad courses also include an immersive experience in the province of Castell\u00f3n, from a tourist, cultural and gastronomic perspective through different workshops. Therefore, the Castell\u00f3n Tourist Board<\/strong> has presented to the UPAEP students the tourist enclaves that characterize this territory and with the help of the group Voramar<\/strong> A brief introduction to the most typical gastronomy of the Castell\u00f3n area has been made with a culinary workshop on paella and sustainable gastronomy.<\/p>\n

The format of the UJI Study Abroad courses allows you to combine a theoretical curriculum with the presentation and analysis of practical cases from companies in the Valencian Community. In this course, the UJI has had the collaboration of the companies Vygon and Ford, which have conveyed to the students their policies regarding the psychology of work and well-being of the organization. The\u00a0Foundation<\/a>\u00a0Universitat Jaume I-Company<\/a>\u00a0(FUE-UJI) has been in charge of the coordination and monitoring of these academic and cultural activities, within the framework of the implementation of the Study Abroad UJI program.<\/p>\n

The UJI Study Abroad program offers multidisciplinary training through an offer of nine different courses and through short-term stays that contribute to the personal and professional development of young people from all over the world. Each training program has an updated theoretical curriculum combined with practical cases from the region.
