Partners of the Erasmus+ FUNICE project on organic agriculture meet in Turkey

The Erasmus+ FUNICE project on organic and sustainable agriculture met in Balikesir (Turkey) on 7-8 February for its third transnational meeting. The University of Balikesir has been the partner entity in charge of hosting this transnational meeting, whose objectives have focused on the work plan to develop the training material on innovative methodologies for the development of organic agriculture without the use of pesticides.

The consortium will then publish the training book, which will be put into practice by training farmers in these new pesticide-free cultivation methodologies. The consortium composed of the Association de Développement Rural International du Bas Segala (France), the FUE-UJI (Spain), Growth Coop (Spain), the municipality of Karesi (Turkey), the University of Balikesir (Turkey), the ARID Association (Poland) and the Institute of Plant Breeding and Acclimatization of Grodkowice (Poland), will meet again next June in Granada (Spain) to continue with the implementation of the activities planned in the framework of
the project.
