on Wednesday 30th of October, the UJI has hosted a day focused on Social Challenge 6 of the European Framework Program for research and innovation H2020.“Europe in a changing world: inclusive, innovative and reflective societies” is the motto under which this challenge integrated into the H2020 program is identified.
This day promoted by Vice-rector for Research and Transfer It is part of the Strategy of the Generalitat Valenciana for R&D&I Coordination. Its objective is to disseminate the calls for aid for 2020 in Challenge-6 of HORIZONTE 2020, encourage the participation of new entities and experts, give a vision of the new HORIZONTE EUROPE 2021-2027 program and the role of the Humanities and Social Sciences in said period.
The day was inaugurated by Jesús Lancis, Vice-Rector for Research and Transfer of the UJI and José Vilar from IVACE. It has expert speakers on the subject such as Rocío Castrillo, Representative and National Contact Point for Challenge 6 and SwafS (H2020) of the European Office (FECYT) and Fredéric Mertens, professor at the European University of Valencia and evaluator of European projects. In addition, success stories have been presented by Mª Jesús Muñoz, Professor of Sustainable Finance at the UJI with the SMART project., Cristina Portalés, Researcher of the SILKNOW project from the University of Valencia and Raúl Linuesa and Michael Willoughby from the Fundació Valènciactiva and the Polytechnic University of Valencia with the CO-CREA-TE Project.
