A presentation breakfast will be held with the participation of the FUE-UJI trustees. To highlight the "Working Breakfasts: EUROPE 2027" series, the first session will feature the collaboration of a media outlet.
"Working Breakfasts: EUROPE 2027" is a new initiative of the European and International Projects Office of the FUE-UJI. The FUE-UJI Trustees will participate in the event, providing them with firsthand knowledge of the new EU funding mechanisms aimed at both companies and public entities.
On January 1, 2021, the new EU regulations governing European investment and aid programs for the period 2021-2027 must be approved. These programs are aimed at achieving the European Union's growth objectives. For the next seven years, the Council of the European Union and the European Parliament will approve a budget of more than €1.1 billion, representing more than 1% of the GDP of the entire European Union economy. Added to this is the recently approved Next Generation EU plan, a recovery fund that aims to guarantee a sustainable, equitable, inclusive, and fair recovery for all Member States.
The European Commission will implement a large part of this budget through operational programs such as the Regional Policy, managed by the Member States and their regions. However, there are also other programs linked to EU policies managed directly from Brussels and with a total budget of more than €120 billion. These plans financially support actions in the fields of innovation, R&D, the environment, energy, and so on, and most of them have one common denominator: European added value.
