The 2021-2027 funds, the great opportunity in European financing for companies and institutions

The new financing program Next Generation EU, together with the reinforced budgets for the period 2021-2027, provide infinite financing opportunities to the business community and institutions. Therefore, the FUE-UJI, through its European and International Projects Office (EuroFUE-UJI) has launched the Working Breakfasts Europe 2027. This Wednesday, September 30, the Foundation presented the new Breakfast cycle, an initiative that has the collaboration of Caixalmassora. This is a series of monthly sessions aimed at Patrons of the FUE-UJI in order to keep you informed of all the latest information on European financing.

The first session of cycle Business breakfasts Europe 2027 has served as a presentation of the complete cycle. The session was opened by Eva Alcon, rector of the Universitat Jaume I of Castelló, who has highlighted the suitability of this FUE-UJI initiative: “Europe has a very well-defined strategy, in which universities play an important role, hand in hand with the business community. This is the alliance that we envision in this event to transform the local into that global projection.” Carlos Cabrera, executive president of the Universitat Jaume I-Empresa Foundation (FUE-UJI), has presented the cycle Business breakfasts Europe 2027 offering a general vision to employers of what the following sessions of the cycle will be like.

“This is a great opportunity for companies and institutions in Castellón to access the new European funds so necessary at this time. From the Foundation we have prepared the Business breakfasts Europe 2027 with the aim of making you aware of the European financing mechanisms, both current and future.”, stated the executive president of the FUE-UJI, Carlos Cabrera. He also wanted to thank the team EuroFUE-UJI the launch of this initiative and all its efforts to bring a part of Europe to Castelló since the opening of this young office in 2017.

The cycle will consist of a total of six sessions on the most current topics in European financing: Innovation Fund, Green Deal, EIC Accelerator, Horizon Europe and European Funds for the period 2021-2027. All these sessions will have the participation of experts in European financing with close ties to European institutions who will give the keys to the different programmed topics.Furthermore, all Business breakfasts Europe 2027 They will include a brief discussion on the topic presented. In the first session, the debate revolved around the previous experiences of the patronsus in European financing and their expectations for the new investment period. “Our hope is that someone like FUE-UJI will take us by the hand every day, that they will be a catalyst and bring us closer to other companies and researchers in Europe in search of synergies,” he stated. During the cycle presentation session, Gloria Serra, manager of the FUE-UJI, wanted to highlight the increase in the participation of the FUE-UJI in projects financed by the European Commission, currently having a total of 16 active European projects.
