The program Digital Europe is a financing instrument to respond to the digital transformation processes of the European economy and society. It also complements other actions designed by the European Commission in other areas, with a special emphasis on the educational field.
This new programme of the European Commission aims, as a general objective, to support the Digital transformation of the European economy and society and thus transfer its benefits to European citizens and businesses.
Digital Europe encompasses 5 specific objectives:
- High performance computing.
- Artificial intelligence.
- Cybersecurity.
- Advanced digital skills.
- Better use of digital capabilities and interoperability.
