The Erasmus+ project zero waste has brought together all the project partners in the first transnational online meeting. This meeting held on February 10 marked the starting signal for this project on training in zero waste and circular economy. The meeting was led by the project coordinator, Democracy University of Izmir (Turkey). It has had the participation of all its partners, in addition to the FUE-UJI, the University of Balikesir (Turkey), the multicultural organization SWIDEAS (Sweden), the Slovak University of Agriculture V (Slovakia), the consulting firm EMKICE (Republic of Macedonia North) and the town of KARESI (Turkey).
During this international meeting that was held in an online format, the partners of the Zero Waste project have determined the different activities that will be carried out within the framework of the project and their organization in the calendar of the next two years of project implementation. As well as, the visual identity of the project has been published, along with its website and social networks (Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn), which will disseminate all the activities developed within the framework of the Erasmus+ project zero waste.
Among the next steps of the project, the launch of a study to analyze the current situation regarding the knowledge of the population of the partner countries (Turkey, Macedonia, Slovakia, Sweden and Spain) regarding different concepts linked to sustainability and circular economy. This study will be carried out by carrying out a series of questionnaires and interviews, of which
will extract the data and results that will guide the next steps of this project for the training in sustainability.
