The EuroFUE-UJI organizes The Dona in Science, a day that will take place on March 7 within the framework of the celebrations of the Women's Day promoted by the Universitat Jaume I.

The conference will address E-STEAM, an Erasmus + that works to promote the presence of women in Science. The Universitat Jaume I-Empresa Foundation is part of this project together with a consortium made up of six entities and led by the Agrupamento de Escolas de Silves (Portugal). The GeST, Gender, Health and Work research group (http://gest.uji.es/) directed by the professor of the Universitat Jaume I Eva Cifre, collaborates in the project.

E-STEAM (Equality in Science, Technology, Engineering, Art and Mathematics) is an Erasmus + project under the modality from 'Strategic Partnerships in the field of education and training', which for two years will work to increase and balance the presence of women in fields of scientific education, responding to their limited presence in this area.

The day The Dona in Science It is aimed at teachers, students, and all people interested in STEAM studies. A committee of experts from the academic sector will attend, as well as several professionals with proven experience in the scientific field, so that high school students can learn first-hand about the work dynamics of these women.

The results of the project so far will be presented and, in the second part of the session, four stereotypes detected in different institutes in Romania, Bulgaria, Spain, Greece and Portugal will be worked on in a participatory way, in order to debate them and thus generate possible solutions.

The day will take place from 12 to 2 p.m., in the roomTD1104AA of the Higher School of Technology and Experimental Sciences from the Jaume I University.
