The EIC Accelerator is based on the SME Phase II Instrument and provides both grant support and in the form of combined grant (between €0.5 and €2.5m) and equity (up to €15m) financing.
This instrument aims to support high-risk, high-potential innovative small and medium-sized businesses that wish to develop and commercialize new products, services and business models, which can drive economic growth and shape new markets or disrupt existing ones in Europe and Worldwide.
The EIC Fund will support different types of innovation, including advanced technology that present intense R&D content with interactions between different technological fields and that require significant levels of capital given the high risk involved, offset by a very high profit potential.
