December 2019-November 2022
The project, within the framework of the Horizon 2020 programme, aims to develop an ethical governance system to implement good practices in RRI (research ethics, gender equality, open science and commitment to citizenship) in European research centers and education and financial institutions. This system is made up of an ETHNA office and four work tools and methodologies for RRI: ethical code, ethics committee, ethics hotline, and process indicators to be reported.
The ETHNA project will implement and validate an ethical governance system by integrating an ETHNA office in the management of six consortium organizations from Spain, Norway, Estonia, Bulgaria, Austria and Portugal. The objective is to develop a governance structure that is sustainable over time and transferable to other centers, promoting more responsible research and innovation based on commitment to citizens and society.
