Since the creation of the new Commission, the greatest commitment to fulfill has been the fight against climate change. For this reason, work is being done on a new call for funding aimed at strengthening research and innovation related to the European Green Deal (Green Deal).
This call seeks to ensure that the projects presented are framed in one of its 8 lines of work:
▪ A higher level of EU climate ambition for 2030 and 2050.
▪ Supply of clean, affordable and safe energy.
▪ Involve the industry to achieve a cleaner and more circular economy.
▪ More efficient construction and rehabilitation.
▪ Accelerate the change towards more sustainable and intelligent mobility.
▪ “From farm to table”: design of a fair, healthy and ecological food system.
▪ Preserve and restore ecosystems and biodiversity.
▪ 0 pollution for an environment without toxic substances.
These will also be complemented by three horizontal areas:
▪ Reinforce knowledge.
▪ Empower citizens.
▪ International cooperation.
