In 2015, this project aimed to demonstrate the viability of comprehensive management of citrus pruning waste.

The project demonstrates that the leaves and branches of citrus plantations can be transformed into animal feed, essential oils, livestock bedding and biofuel.

Their ultimate goal is to introduce these new products created from waste to the market instead of disposing of it.
