Support4Resilience: Strengthening resilience and mental wellbeing through the Support4Resilience toolbox for leaders in elderly care.
MARCH 2024 - FEBRUARY 2028
Elderly care in Europe faces labour shortages and a mismatch of capacity and demands, resulting in reduced mental well-being among healthcare workers. However, there is a need for more research-based measures to address these challenges. The EU-funded Support4Resilience project will develop and evaluate a research-based toolbox for leaders to improve the resilience and mental well-being of healthcare workers and informal caregivers in elderly care. The project will provide recommendations and cost-effective interventions, including resources for mapping, reflection, education and reorganisation. The toolbox will be implemented at the organisational level and evaluated through elderly care settings in six European countries and Australia.
