The second transnational meeting of the Erasmus+ project took place on April 11 and 12 InterCat on circular and accessible tourism. The meeting, in which the entire consortium participated, took place in Riga (Latvia), organized by the association Ecological Future Education. This consortium meeting has been the opportunity to debate the 2nd result to be implemented by the project, the DiaTool tool for tourism evaluation from the perspective of accessibility and sustainability. In addition, the partners have also agreed on the final details for the presentation of the Glossary of terms and good practices on circular and accessible tourism and plans for the next study visit in Patras, Greece.
Furthermore, the stay in Riga has allowed the consortium to visit examples of good practices in circular and accessible tourism in the city. On the one hand, they have enjoyed a guided tour of the landfill Getlini and the experience in Museum in the Dark of Riga, which allows visitors to experiment with the senses once the sense of vision has been canceled.
The coordinator of the New Horizons project (Italy), the partners Previform (Portugal) and the Universitat Jaume I-Empresa Foundation (Spain) attended the meeting in person. While the Ergasia organization (Greece) has attended the work sessions remotely. Over the next few months the partners will work on the new tool DiaTool and they will prepare the study visit in Patras (Greece), scheduled from June 27 to July 2.
