The Kick-off Meeting of the InterCAT project It took place in Tusa (Italy) on July 28 and 29, 2021. This first face-to-face meeting allowed the partners of this Erasmus+ project to meet in person. The work sessions of these two meeting days have focused on the work done and to be done to implement the deliverables of this project on circular and accessible tourism. It has especially focused on the development of the Glossary of terms for circular and accessible tourism, which will finally be presented during the project training course in Portugal.
On the occasion of the InterCAT launch meeting that took place in Tusa (Italy) on July 28 and 29, 2021, the host organization, the New Horizons Association (Project Coordinator) has distributed the press release to several local newspapers of Sicily for publication. The news has reached several important media outlets, such as Gazzetta del Sud (one of the most
important in southern Italy), Nebrodi News and Lettera Emme.
Through the published articles, the public was able to learn about our multinational association, the objectives of the project, the main results, as well as the next activity, the training course in Portugal, in order to attract the attention and interest of the public. In addition, the partnership's visit to the local municipality is also highlighted, underlining the project's determination to involve local authorities as identified stakeholders for the application and dissemination of the project's impact.
