The Vice-Rectorate for Internationalization and Cooperation of the Universitat Jaume I, with the support of the FUE-UJI, has organized the Erasmus+ Virtual Day Key Action KA2: Cooperation between organizations and institutions that will take place next February 14, 2022 at 9 a.m.. This day aims to disseminate the calls for European Erasmus+ funding, especially the KA2 Key Action and design measurements Erasmus Mundus. The EU Erasmus+ program aims to support education, training, youth and sport in Europe. For the period 2021-2027, the program places special emphasis on social inclusion, the ecological and digital transition, and promoting the participation of young people in democratic life.
The day will be inaugurated by Joan Antoni Martin, vice-rector of Internationalization and Cooperation of the UJI, and for Alfonso Gentil, director of the Spanish Service for the Internationalization of Education (SEPIE) which acts as a national agency for the management, dissemination and promotion of the European Union's Erasmus+ program in the field of education and training.
The day's program includes the participation of Andrew Ajo, director of the SEPIE School and Adult Education Unit, who will present the Erasmus+ 2021-2027 program. Key Action 2 will also be presented, especially partnerships for cooperation, led by Sara Martínez Navarro, head of service of the School and Adult Education Unit of SEPIE, and the Erasmus Mundus Design Measures call, presented by Loreta Paulauskaite, contact point for Erasmus+ International Dimension. Ilija Vukov, an expert consultant in European financing, will present the call for Innovation Alliances, which has an important weight within Key Action 2 of the Erasmus+ program.
During the day, three projects currently in force at the UJI that constitute success stories will also be presented: H₂O Map of the FACSA Chair of Innovation in the Integral Water Cycle, the project CE-IP of the research group SOGRES-MF of the UJI, and the project SenseGuide in which the Universitat per a Majors of the UJI participates.
Through this virtual conference, the UJI encourages participation in Erasmus+ by its research groups and offers them the necessary tools to present project proposals with the greatest guarantees of success. In addition, the day is also aimed at entities, associations, administrations and companies that want to obtain European funding within the framework of the Erasmus+ program.
