The second transnational meeting of the European project Ecoblue Tourism on entrepreneurship in blue ecotourism was held this October 20 in a mixed format. The consortium meeting hosted some of the project partners at the headquarters of the partner Future Focus (Malta), while part of the consortium attended electronically.
The Erasmus+ project, coordinated by the FUE-UJI, reaches the midpoint of its implementation with the second transnational meeting between partners in which the progress in the development of training material in entrepreneurship in blue ecotourism has been presented. This material will be implemented in the completion of a 53-hour training course with a total of 8 modules, developed by the FUE-UJI. In addition, the training has been adapted to the situation currently experienced worldwide, also including the training module Activating the Tourism sector in times of COVID-19 and Security.
The meeting was also marked by the presentation of the interface of the mobile application in which the training material will be hosted. Through this mobile application, long-term unemployed young people will be able to train in entrepreneurship in ecological activities that are respectful of marine ecosystems.
The meeting included representatives from all partner organizations, either in person or online. Well, this project funded by the European Commission under the Erasmus+ program has a consortium made up of 7 partners: the University of Patras (Greece), Dorea Educational Institute WTF (Cyprus), Training 2000 psc (Italy), the Center for Public Education of Kemer (Turkey), the Future Focus Ltd Higher Education Center (Malta), the Association of Galician Entrepreneurs in Aragon and Riberas del Ebro, AEGARE, (Spain) and the European and International Projects Office of the FUE-UJI, the EuroFUE-UJI (Spain), project coordinator.
During the next few months, both the training material and the mobile application will be ready for use and the training course will begin. The next transnational meeting is planned for next year 2021, with the University of Patras (Greece) as guests of the meeting.
