What data do we collect?

The registration form requests name and surname, email address, organization or institution, position and the days you will attend.

If you request to be listed in the public directory of participants, we will also ask you for a photo and a brief professional description. The form will record your choice regarding the publication of your profile.

What do we use the data for and what is the legal basis?

Registration management. We use the data necessary to process your registration, organize your participation, and send you practical information related to the event, such as registration confirmation or any changes to the program. The legal basis for this processing is Article 6.1.b of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), as it is necessary to manage your requested participation.

Public directory of participants. If you choose this option and check the specific consent box, we may publish your photo, name, surname, organization, position, and brief description on the event page. The legal basis for this publication is your consent, in accordance with Article 6.1.a of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). Requesting a public profile is optional and does not affect your registration. We will review your profile before publishing it.

The data provided in this form will not be used to subscribe you to newsletters or to send you promotional communications unrelated to the organization of this event.

Who can see the data

The team authorized to organize the event will have access to the registration data. The email address, selected sessions, and area of interest will not be displayed in the public directory.

You can withdraw your consent to have your profile published at any time by writing to the same address. Withdrawal does not affect the legality of the publication made before we received your request, but we will remove your profile from the page after processing it.

If you believe that the processing of your data is not appropriate, you can file a complaint with the Spanish Data Protection Agency, in www.aepd.es.
