Partners of the Erasmus+ FUNICE project on organic agriculture meet in Turkey

The Erasmus+ project FUNICE on organic and sustainable agriculture met in Balikesir (Turkey) on February 7 and 8 for its third transnational meeting. The Balikesir University has been the partner entity in charge of hosting this transnational meeting, whose objectives have focused on the work plan to develop training material on innovative methodologies for the development of organic agriculture without the use of pesticides.

Once the consortium publish this training book, it will be put into practice through training farmers in these new cultivation methodologies without the use of pesticides. The consortium composed of Asociación de Desarrollo Rural International du Bas Segala (France), FUE-UJI (Spain), Growth Coop (Spain), the municipality of Karesi (Turkey), the University of Balikesir (Turkey), the ARID Association ( Poland) and the Institute of Plant Breeding and Acclimatization of Grodkowice (Poland), will meet again next June in Granada (Spain) to continue with the implementation of the activities planned within the framework of the project.
