On Thursday the 12th it took place at the Valencian Institute of Valencian Competitiveness (IVACE) the meeting of the H2020 Commission of the Valencian Community. Nela Gómez participated for the first time representing the FUE-UJI, along with other new incorporations from DG Health, Fundación Valenciaport and Climate KIC.
First, the monitoring indicators of the CV H2020 Action Plan were presented by the Technical Secretariat, which showed a significant improvement in indicators with respect to the VII Framework Program and compliance with 106% of the 2014 partial return objective was confirmed.
2017, with €234 million compared to the budgeted €222 million. The gain in terms of relative weight of the Valencian Community was highlighted, which improved from 6.6% of the VII FP to 8.4% at the end of 2017. The great contribution of companies to H2020 was also valued with €84 million with 168 participating companies. , mostly SMEs.
Then it was presented Climate-KIC, the main initiative of H2020 and the EU on climate change. Next, the interventions were made by the representatives of the DGs and the panel of experts.
To conclude the day, IVACE presented the 10 Infodays planned until the end of the year that are organized by IVACE-SEIMED with CDTI and REDIT and also Climate KIC on climate-related topics.
