FUE-UJI PARTICIPATES IN THE FIRST TRANSNATIONAL MEETING OF THE NEW ERASMUS+ NEUROPEDAGOGY PROJECT

On 17 and 18 November, FUE-UJI, through EuroFUE-UJI, participated in the first meeting between the partners of the European project Neuropedagogy, which was held online. This project, financed by the European Commission under the strategic action «Erasmus+ KA2 Strategic Partnerships for Higher Education», has as its main objective to train university teachers with a methodology based on neuroscience. The project will carry out this objective thanks to the development of an online platform in which the teaching community will work on their transversal competences in the area of communication.

This first digital meeting of the consortium has served to lay the foundations for the implementation of the project and to start off with the activity of the project which will focus in the coming months on researching the needs of teachers and how neuroscience can help. For this purpose, the partners of the Neuropedagogy project have analysed during these two days of online meetings the project idea, the objectives, planned activities and expected results.

These sessions have also revolved around the presentation of the different plans that will structure the implementation of the project, such as the Management, Quality Control and Risk Management Plans, the Visual Identity Manual and the Communication Plan for the dissemination of the actions and results. Likewise, the different Intellectual Products on which the Neuropedagogy consortium will work in the next months and which will be the final product of the project have also been presented.

Representatives of all the institutions of the consortium have been in charge of elaborating and presenting these work plans, from the coordinator the Academy of Business and Health Sciences of Poland, as all the partners of the project: FUE-UJI (Spain), INNETICA (Spain), the Angel Kanchev University of Ruse (Bulgaria), the University of Limburg (Belgium) and the University of Patras (Greece). Furthermore, these virtual meetings are a great opportunity for the partners to get to know each other and to present the different international institutions participating in the project, highlighting the strengths where they can bring great value to the project.
